Multiboard Tile Backer Board

Multiboard tile backer board by marmox is the ideal backing board to use with our slate and stone veneers. 

 This multiboard product item is for the 1250 x 600 x 10mm boards, sold per box with 6 boards in a box. 

 Our price includes VAT and delivery for one full box. We do not offer part boxes or single boards. Other sizes, thicknesses and accessories are avaialble please contact us for information on these items. 

Here are the features of the product - 

The original ‘Marmox board’ is the perfect solution for insulating and waterproofing in one operation. The Multiboard is lightweight and very easy to cut with a saw or knife. Marmox Multiboard has been tested to hold a tile weight of 100kg/m2, double that of plasterboard and stronger than other tile backer boards. What are they are made of? Marmox Multiboard is made of extruded polystyrene and is fully waterproof and vapour proof, not allowing any water or steam to pass through it in the way expanded polystyrene boards do. Each face of the Multiboard is covered with a close woven fibreglass mesh embedded in a cement polymer mortar. Sizes Marmox Multiboard is available in 3 sizes; standard board comes boxed and is 1250mm x 600mm. Long board is 2500mm x 600mm (pallets only) and Big board is 2400mm x 1200mm (pallets only). Please note long board & big board is NOT in cartons but are shrink wrapped and edge protected. 

Water proof and suitable to use showers and wet rooms and on external cladding projects. 

Delivery:

In cases where one of our natural materials varies from batch to batch we send an image of a sheet from the available batch for approval before shipping. We send this image by email within two working days of receiving your order.

Our materials are delivered by couriers and pallet couriers, the overall delivery time from placing your order is 5 - 8 working days subject to stock availability. If your order needs to come from our Germany warehouse the delivery time is 2-3 weeks. If you require your order urgently please call us to check stock availability before placing your order. 

Payment:

You can order securely through our website using a debit or credit card. If you do not wish to order online we can take card payments over the phone and we can send a proforma invoice for payment by bank transfer.
